About the Brand
Lentsius is a family-run brand founded by designer Kairi Lentsius and her craftsman father, Mart. Their shared vision transforms everyday materials into timeless treasures, starting with upcycled waste from the metal and wood industries. Kairi, a Pallas University of Applied Sciences graduate with a master’s from the Swedish School of Textiles, quickly made her mark by showcasing her collections at London and Stockholm Fashion Weeks. Her innovative work has been recognized with awards and nominations, including a second-place finish in the Estonian Designers Union’s "Men’s Thing" competition (2013), a nomination for the Young Designer Award SÄSI (2016), and an honourable mention at the 2022 BRUNO Estonian Product Design Awards for her Telk collection. Alongside running Lentsius, she also inspires the next generation as a fashion design lecturer at Pallas.
At its core, Lentsius is committed to sustainability. With a focus on seasonless, single-material designs that minimize waste, every piece is thoughtfully handmade in Tartu, Estonia, blending tradition with innovation for a cleaner, more conscious approach to jewelry.
