US deliveries paused

Important Update: Temporary Pause on US Deliveries

We regret to inform you that we are pausing all deliveries to the United States. Almost all our logistics partners — including DHL, Poste Italiane, PostNord, and others — have told us this week that they are either suspending shipments or demanding extreme fees to continue.

Others have warned that with all the unknowns, plus new tariffs and customs fees, packages could end up stuck in US customs for weeks (or longer).

We know this is frustrating news, and we’ve prepared some FAQs to help explain the situation.

Why are deliveries to the US paused?

Due to the new tariffs introduced by the Trump administration and the removal of the de minimis exemption, shipping to the US has become unpredictable and unmanageable. Logistics companies cannot guarantee delivery, and some have already suspended shipments entirely.

What is the de minimis exemption?

Until now, US customs allowed imports under $800 to enter without duties or extensive customs paperwork. This rule ends on August 29. With the exemption gone, even small orders will require duties, fees, and paperwork.

Why can’t carriers simply charge the new duties?

Because there is no clear process in place. Carriers cannot guarantee that packages won’t get stuck at customs, and some are demanding extremely high fees to cover the uncertainty. Even US customs officials don’t seem fully ready for the change.

When will US deliveries resume?

We expect the situation to stabilize soon, since EU–US trade is one of the busiest in the world. However, we cannot give an exact date yet. We will provide updates as soon as we have reliable shipping options again.

What does this mean for my existing order?

If you placed an order for delivery to the US before this announcement, our team will contact you directly to confirm next steps. If shipping is not possible, we will work with you to find the best solution.

Can I still order for delivery outside the US?

Yes. Deliveries to Europe and other regions are not affected.

Where can I get updates?

We’ll post all updates on this blog and notify US customers via email when shipping resumes. We suggest subscribing to our mailing list to keep up-to-date on all the latest news.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Why is this happening now?

Trump’s new tariffs and the loss of the de minimis exemption are creating major disruptions. Most carriers have already stopped because there’s no clear process for duties, and they cannot guarantee deliveries before August 29.

2. Is this permanent?

We expect this to be temporary. Since EU–US is the largest trade lane in the world, solutions will likely be put in place soon.

3. What happens to orders already placed?

Customers with existing US orders will be contacted directly. If shipping cannot go through, we’ll work together on the best solution.

4. Can I still shop if I’m outside the US?

Yes. Deliveries to Europe and other countries are not affected by these changes.

We understand how disappointing this is for our US customers, and we’re doing everything we can to restore deliveries as quickly as possible. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
